Jennifer Randall Young, an individual based in Nevada, United States, operates Life With: an Alcoholic. This notice covers the public Life With brand website, The Impossible Choice course portal, and communications with us. Linked reflection tools and payment services are described separately below. Information on this website
This public website does not have an account-registration form, assessment form or active checkout. We have not added advertising pixels, marketing cookies or analytics scripts to these pages. The hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as IP address, browser information and requests to deliver pages, secure the service and troubleshoot problems.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and what you choose to send, including any order reference needed to help you. We use this information to respond, provide support and handle requests. Please do not send private incident logs, medical records, financial account details or information about children unless genuinely necessary for your request.
Course accounts and payment
The course portal uses ChatGPT sign-in, provided through its OpenAI hosting platform. When you sign in, the portal receives your email address and a site-specific account identifier. We use these to recognize your account, show its access status and support you. We do not receive your ChatGPT password, conversations or chat history through this sign-in. The sign-in provider handles authentication under its own privacy notice. You can browse the public course information without signing in; lessons and downloads require verified access.
For purchases processed by Paddle, Paddle acts as merchant of record and handles payment and transaction information under its Privacy Policy. When checkout opens, we use a checkout reference to link a purchase to your signed-in ChatGPT account. Paddle receives this reference with the checkout; you supply billing information directly to Paddle. Our server checks payment and refund information with Paddle and keeps account identifiers, checkout references, transaction and event identifiers, access/payment status, and relevant timestamps to provide access, prevent duplicate processing and handle refunds. The course access database does not store full payment-card details or full Paddle notification payloads. Order and customer information may also be available to us through Paddle for support and refunds. Do not email us payment-card details.
Workbooks and linked tools
Downloading a blank workbook does not send its completed answers to us. Where your completed file is stored depends on your device and any backup or cloud service you use.
The course links to separate Lovable-hosted reflection tools. Those services have their own technical data handling. Their optional completion emails use Resend. Depending on the tool, the participant receives a summary or next-step note; Jennifer's separate completion notice is designed to contain only the module and completion time, not answers or the participant's email address. The services may retain limited delivery and abuse-prevention records. Read the tool's on-screen notice and only use an inbox you can access privately. This is not a promise that linked services collect no information.
Providers and external links
We use OpenAI Sites for website hosting and ChatGPT sign-in, Cloudflare infrastructure for course files and access records, Paddle for purchases, and email providers including Resend for optional tool emails. These providers process information needed for their functions. Hosting and sign-in may use cookies or similar technology for sessions and security; we have not added advertising trackers to the brand or course pages. Clicking YouTube, booking or other external links takes you to separate services governed by their own notices. These pages do not embed those services or automatically send them your workbook answers.
Use, sharing and retention
We use information for operating the website, responding to you, providing purchased services, security and legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or use submitted personal reflections for advertising. Information may be shared with providers needed to deliver the service, when legally required, or to address security and misuse.
We retain support correspondence and administrative records only as needed for the purposes described, including maintaining lifetime purchase access, recording refunds, preventing duplicate payment processing, resolving issues and meeting applicable obligations. A checkout reference's validity period is not a promise that its record is automatically deleted at that time. Retention differs by record and provider; contact us to ask about information we hold. No internet service is completely secure, and ordinary email is not a confidential counseling channel.
Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of personal information we control by emailing us. We may need to verify your identity and retain records required by law or necessary for an unresolved transaction. Deleting account/access records may affect our ability to recognize your purchased access; contact us so we can explain the effect before carrying out your request. Signing out does not delete purchase records. Additional rights may apply based on where you live. For information controlled directly by Paddle or another external service, contact that service as well.
Children, location and updates
These resources are intended for adults. We do not invite children to submit information. Contact us if a child has provided information so we can address it. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries. We will update this notice when practices change and show the revised date here.
